WELCOME TO THE PROUD MUSTANGS FAMILY!

REGISTRATION IS CURRENTLY CLOSED!

We are looking to expand all our programs by fielding teams in multiple divisions in each of these activities.  If you or your child is looking for something to do this year, you have come to the right place.

SPRING TRAINING

Running from March to the Mid May, Come join us and work on the fundamentals that make every football player great in a supportive, family environment . Sunday morning sessions in the Gymnasium at Hillcrest High School.

Three sessions:
Beginner
Intermediate / Advanced
Girls Only

FLAG FOOTBALL

This will be the first year where we will try to run multiple flag seasons.  The first will run from mid May to the end of June.  A second will run in late July through to the end of summer and another will run on the weekends in September and October. 

The intent is to have both practices and play games for all seasons.

TACKLE FOOTBALL

The practices begins the second week of July, the season starts in August and continues into the playoffs into early November. 

All levels practice multiple times a week (evenings, 6-8pm), and play games, mostly on the weekend.  

CHEER SQUAD 

The squad will practice multiple times a week (evenings), and perform on the weekend during games.  

2025 SEASON FEES

  • Flag football fee is $TBD + Football Ontario and Canada membership.
  • Tackle football fee is $TBD + Football Ontario and Canada membership 
  • Cheer squad fee is $TBD + Football Ontario membership

MUSTANGS TERRITORY (TACKLE FOOTBALL ONLY)

You must reside in our territory to play for the South Ottawa Mustangs or have been released by your home football club.

The current South Ottawa Mustangs boundary is as follows:

From Highway 417, south along the Rideau River to Hunt Club, east to Bank St. then North on Bank St to the CNR rail line. East on the rail line to the 417 at the Walkley interchange; north and then west on the 417 to the Rideau River. (shown as maroon on the map)

The South Ottawa Mustangs also share a registration boundary with two other clubs:

East of Bronson (and Dow's Lake) to the Vanier Parkway, north of McArthur Ave, extending further east to St Laurent Boulevard and bounded on the north by the Ottawa River.  (shown as green on the map)
